Linda Lee Burgett, a loving mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother, passed away peacefully on December 22, 2025, at the age of 76. Born on January 7, 1949, in Dallas, Texas, Linda spent her life rooted in love, family, and quiet service to others. She was a longtime resident of Fort Worth, Texas, where she built a life centered around caring for those she loved.
Linda was preceded in death by her parents, Robert and Mildred Hunze, as well as her brother, Robert E. Hunze.
She is lovingly survived by her sons, Jarod Osman (Jennifer) and James L. Osman, and by her cherished grandchildren, Shianne Osman, Riverr Osman, and Ashley Osman. She also leaves behind her adored great-grandchildren, Adrian Osman, Adelina Osman, Nevaeh Osman, and Aaliyah Osman, who brought her immense joy and pride.
Linda’s fondest memories were often the simplest ones—watching her children play in the creek as they grew, and spending time together as a family. She had a love for bingo and delighted in collecting bingo dobbers, always keeping her lucky bingo troll dolls close by. These small joys reflected her warm spirit and appreciation for life’s everyday moments.
She attended Richland High School and later devoted her career to caring for others. Linda worked for Durham School Services as a bus monitor for a special needs bus in Keller, Texas, a role that perfectly matched her compassionate nature. Earlier in her life, she also worked in a hospital, helping to build women’s imaging services—another testament to her dedication to service and care.
Linda was a woman of faith and a Christian, drawing strength and comfort from her beliefs throughout her life. She will be remembered for her gentle heart, her love for her family, and the quiet ways she made those around her feel seen and cared for.
Her legacy lives on in the generations she loved so deeply and in the memories shared by all who knew her.
