Londell Spencer

FORT WORTH-Londell Spencer passed away Tuesday, September 17, 2019 at the age of 53.
Celebration of life: 2 p.m. Friday, September 27, 2019 at Brown Owens & Brumley’s, Joe B. Brown Memorial Chapel.
Visitation: 11 a.m. until 2 p.m. Friday prior to the service.
Londell was born Wednesday, September 14, 1966 to the late Mervin Lee Spencer and Loretta Olabell Calhoun in Powell, Wyoming. He graduated from Payette High School, class of 1985 and later Sheet Metal Training as a Journeyman.
Londell loved bowling, working with his hands (fixing things), and Londell enjoyed watching the Texas Rangers, Cowboys, Mavericks, and the Dallas Stars. Londell’s love for animals had no rival. Londell was a rock, he had the biggest, kindest, most giving heart. Londell’s girlfriend, LaVerne, love of his life, had a heart attack a couple of years ago that resulted in a severe stroke so she has been in a nursing home ever since. Londell was at her side every day, yes, every day. Londell had several heart attacks through the years and he worked harder than most people with healthy hearts. Londell was an artist with stainless steel, with decades of experience and complete control over the process he created wonders of beauty. His love for creating grew and blossomed, shining at its brightest when he did what he did best, making or doing it for someone else.
Londell was the epitome of a big heart and his love had no boundaries. Londell never saw any bad in anyone and often put himself at great risk and danger to help a stranger in need. Nothing could stop him from giving all he had to help a friend or family member. His career was as a Sheet Metal Mechanic and he owned Diamond Stainless. Londell will be missed beyond imagination, but Londell will never be forgotten! Londell is preceded in death by his parents; and brother, Michael Spencer. Survivors: Girlfriend; LaVerne Spracklin, siblings; Melinda Spencer Sackett, Patrick Spencer, and Lora Calhoun; and numerous nieces, nephews and many, many friends.
