Mark Wayne James Sr. passed away Sunday, July 16, 2023 at the age of 69.
Celebration of life: 1 p.m. Friday, July 21, 2023 at Brown Owens & Brumley’s Joe B. Brown Memorial Chapel with a reception to follow.
Visitation: 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. (2 hours prior to service time) Friday, July 21, 2023 at the funeral home.
Mark was born to the late Mack and Jeraldine James on Sunday, October 11, 1953 in Fort Worth, Texas. Mark proudly served his country by enlisting in the US Army where he earned a National Defense Service Medal. He was a Christian and attended Turning Point Church. Mark loved to play electric and acoustic guitar, sing and write music and write different jingles. He was a loving husband, father, brother, cousin and friend and will be deeply missed.
Survivors: Wife, Deborah James; son, Mark Wayne James Jr.; brothers, Steven James and Gary James; cousin, Cindy Duncan; and numerous friends.
