Regina "Gail" Smith

Regina "Gail" Smith, 65, amazing mother and Nana, passed away on January 24, 2023, in Granbury, TX.

Regina was born on June 5, 1957 in Pampa, TX, to Donald Stembridge and Claudia Fulton. She graduated from Granbury High School in May 1975. She married Donald Linney in July 1976 and they had two daughters Brandy and Brooke. She worked as a child care provider for over 30 years. She married Randall Smith in February 2003.

Regina loved children. She especially loved her grandchildren and enjoyed watching them play sports. She was also intensely involved with the children's department at her church. 

Regina is survived by daughter Brandy and husband Kerry Cooper of Granbury; daughter Brooke Linney of Granbury; grandchildren Alison Cooper, Carson Cooper, Hudson Cooper, Tyson Cooper, and Zoey Linney; sisters LaQuita Royal, Debra Gilliam, Brenda Maggard and Cheryl Coleman; nieces and nephews. 

Regina is preceded in death by her father Donald Stembridge, mother Claudia Fulton, husband Randall Smith, sister Anita Wilson.

A memorial for Regina Smith will be held on February 4th at 2 p.m. at Southside Baptist Church in Granbury.
