FORT WORTH-Roger Dale Hawkins passed away Saturday, December 5, 2020 at the age of 76.
CELEBRATION OF LIFE: 12 P.M. Wednesday, December 16, 2020 at Brown Owens & Brumley’s Joe B. Brown Memorial Chapel.
VISITATION: 10 A.M. to 12 P.M. Wednesday, December 16, 2020 at the funeral home.
INTERMENT: Roger will be laid to rest with his beloved wife of 38 years, Wanda Sue Hawkins in the Dallas Fort Worth National Cemetery.
Roger was born Thursday, May 25, 1944 in Fort Worth, Texas to the late Harold and Mildred Hawkins. He proudly served his country by enlisting in the US Army. His interests included playing golf, fishing, watching pee wee football, rodeos, hunting, watching wrestling and jiujitsu when his grandkids competed. Roger never met a stranger and would talk to everyone and anyone and would share Jesus with them whenever possible. He always was willing to give his time and would help anyone that needed it. He was a loving father, grandfather, brother and friend and will be missed.
Roger is preceded in death by his parents; wife, Wanda Sue Hawkins; brothers, Bill Hawkins, David Hawkins and Bubba Hawkins.
SURVIVORS: Daughter, Carrie Wright and husband, Nick; grandson, Hunter Wright; grandson, Fisher Wright; granddaughter, Trinity Wright; daughter, Pam Wylie; daughter, Tammy Myerley and husband, Richard; granddaughter, Amanda Powell; great grandson, Jack Powell; grandson, Cody Eggers and wife, Tansey; sister, Sheila Sager; brother, Gary Hawkins and wife, Debbie; and numerous nieces, nephews and friends.
