Sandra Rowlings

Sandra M Rowlings of Aledo, Texas, formerly of King of Prussia, Pennsylvania, passed away on June 4, 2025, at home, at the age of 85. 

A proud graduate of Philadelphia General Hospital Nursing class of 1960, Sandie soon embarked on a 47 year career as an operating room supervisor. 

Born on July 28, 1939 in Altoona, Pennsylvania, Sandra was a source of wisdom, compassion, and sage advice. A voracious reader who loved to travel, she adored all animals but most especially her cats, Piper and Atticus the Catticus. During the summer of 2024, Sandra visited Italy where she fulfilled a life long dream of touring Venice in a gondola. 

Preceeded in death by her husband Paul A. Rowlings, her parents Mary Virginia Estright and Robert Eugene Estright.

She is survived by her children and grandchildren: Paul (Pam); Amy (Joe), Erin-Caroline (Ian), Joe Jr., Rider, Connor (Caitlin); Michael (Melissa) Kayla, the twins, and Cody; several siblings, nephews, nieces, great nephews, and great nieces. 

Sandra's ashes will be interred at a later date on the grounds of Washington Memorial Chapel, Valley Forge, Pa.
