Sharon Ann Kenyon

January 1, 1961 — April 6, 2024

Sharon Ann Kenyon, age 63, passed away on April 6, 2024.

Sharon was born in Hays, KS to Daniel Braun Jr and Veronica Degenhardt (Ditto).

Sharon loved her family dearly; her children and grandchildren were her life. She enjoyed watching her grandchildren participating in sports, journaling, coloring, pestering her girls with her multiple phone calls a day, or being the peacemaker between Candice and Shelby, and being there for her son Josh when he needed advice. She loved camping and going on vacations with Glenn, her boyfriend of many years. When she wasn't with her family you could always find her in her garden or planting an Ivy. One of her most cherished memories was at her Mother Veronica's Christmas Eve gathering where she enjoyed homemade chicken noodle soup and watching her friends and family play pool. Sharon spent most of her days attached at the hip with her sister Pam sharing laughs and lifelong memories. Sharon was honest, caring, selfless, and loved hard. She took a piece of our hearts when she left but is no longer in pain. We rest easy knowing she is walking hand in hand with Zachary and our Heavenly Father.

From my Mother "Dear grandkids, When I close my eyes, I see you..When I open my eyes, I miss you.. When my arms can't reach my grandchildren, I hug them with my prayers."

Sharon is survived by Mother Veronica Ditto; three children, Joshua Braun, Candice Kenyon and Fiancé Kyle Bogue, Shelby Whorton and Husband Michael Whorton; Long time boyfriend, Glenn Carr; His two children, Melissa Carr, Glenn Carr II; and their children; siblings Pamela Moore and Fiancé Malcolm Munkittrick, Michael Braun, Gregory Braun, and J.R. Ditto; Grandchildren Ashley Braun, Daniel Kenyon, Ema Braun, Kaitlynn Brown, Noah Whorton, Abby Whorton, Hadley Bogue, Kole Bogue; as well as multiple nieces and nephews.

She is preceded in death by her nephew Zachary Moore.
