FORT WORTH-Tarra Leiala-Rose Halstead passed away Monday, May 31, 2021 at the age of 25.
CELEBRATION OF LIFE: 1 p.m. Tuesday, June 8, 2021 at Brown Owens & Brumley’s Joe B. Brown Memorial Chapel.
VISITATION: 5 to 7 p.m. Monday, June 7, 2021 at the funeral home.
Tarra was born Thursday, June 15, 1995 to Clay Halstead and Jill Ikaika in Elko, Nevada. She attended Laguna Elementary School in Tucson, Arizona and Flowing Wells Jr. High School in Tucson. She graduated from North Lamar High School in Paris, Texas. She graduated from Richland College with an Associate Degree in Science and had a successful two year career in volleyball. Tarra loved spending time with her family and friends and her smile lit up the room whenever she entered. She loved music and used to play the game of “music trivia” which was always fun for everyone. She loved to travel and had many trips she was fond of. Tarra was an animal lover and especially loved horses. She trained and rode horses any chance she got which was quite often. She was a devoted, sweet, loving mother, daughter, sister, granddaughter and friend and will be deeply missed by so many family and friends.
Tarra is preceded in death by her uncle, Ronnie Meyer and very dear friend, Kate Pearl Curtis.
SURVIVORS: Son, Bryson Moore; daughter, Evaya Moore; mother, Jill Ikaika; step-father, James Ayup; sister, Kylie Halstead; aunt, Linda Ikaika; aunt, Rita Garstad; cousin, Wyatt Hendrickson and wife, Carolina; uncle, Paul Ikaika and wife, Linda; uncle, Perry Ikaika; grandmother, Rosanna Ikaika; grandfather, Robert Hendrickson; and numerous friends.
