Thomas Earl “Tommy” Stovall, 78, of Springtown, Texas, passed away on August 6, 2026. He was born on June 25, 1948, in Fort Worth, Texas, to Marvin Stovall and Josie Holleman.
Tommy was a talented cabinetmaker who took tremendous pride in his work. When he wasn’t working, Tommy enjoyed watching old Korean movies and spending time with his beloved dog, Honey. Although he may not have always shown it openly, he had a special love for animals.
Above all, Tommy will be remembered for his fierce loyalty to his family and friends. Those who knew and loved him will forever cherish his strong spirit, dependable nature, and the love he had for the people closest to him.
Tommy was preceded in death by his wife of 49 years, Kathey Stovall; his parents, Marvin Stovall and Josie Holleman; his brother, Jerry Stovall; his stepmother, Aileen Stovall; and his brother-in-law, Bill Shewmaker.
He is survived by his son, Ronnie Stovall and wife, Cindy; daughter, Lisa Hornsby and husband, Louis; grandchildren, Justin Stovall and wife, Marissa, Michael Weatherly and wife, Amber, Garrett Hornsby, Shania Stovall and husband, Devon, Debbie Mendiola and husband, Anthony, and Chris Smith and wife, Beth; sisters, Wanda Shewmaker, Mickie Kelley and husband, Harvey, and Vickie Keown and husband, Larry; brother, Nicky Holleman; numerous great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews, extended family members, and dear friends; and his faithful dog, Honey.
Tommy’s craftsmanship may be seen in the things he built, but his greatest legacy will live on in the family and friends he loved so fiercely.
