Travis Miles Day

Jan 18, 2001 — Jul 20, 2026

Travis Miles Day, age 25, of Fort Worth, TX, passed away on Monday, July 20th, 2026, after a hard-fought battle with complications from a severe illness.

Travis’ legacy lives on through his parents, Randy and Stacy; his sister, Miranda; his three dogs; his grandma; countless aunts, uncles, cousins; and so many dear friends.

As Travis moves on, he joins his grandparents, Sandra and Bill Day, to make up more song lyrics, demand pizza beans, and watch scary movies; and his grandpa, Bub Carson, to ride dune buggies and sing karaoke.

Travis graduated from Keller High School in 2019. While there, he was a member of the school's show choir and varsity mixed choir, earning awards and accolades every year.

Most of Travis’ favorite accomplishments revolved around his passion for music. In 2019 alone, his band, Burning Bridges, had multiple songs debut on 97.1 The Eagle’s Live and Local show. He performed all over the state of Texas, and he and his friends hosted and performed at their own festival in Watauga.

Travis was known to many people for many things, including constantly committing to a bit (even when it got him in trouble), being a fierce secret keeper, getting countless tattoos on a whim, always accepting a dare, never failing to make people smile and feel deeply loved, answering when you needed him most, and creating music that will outlive us all.

He’ll carry on as every belly laugh that echoes around, every random stranger that takes on the role of momentary hype man in your times of triumph, and every sweet melody that gets stuck in your head.
