Walter Rogelio Wek passed away Monday, July 15, 2024 at the age of 37.

Visitation: 11 a.m. Saturday, July 20, 2024 at Brown Owens & Brumley Family Funeral Home.

Funeral service: 12 p.m. Saturday, July 20, 2024 at Brown Owens & Brumley Family Funeral Home.

Celebration of life: 2 p.m. Saturday, July 20, 2024 at Sammy's On The Lake, 6680 E. Peden road, Fort Worth, Texas 76179.

Walter was born February 26, 1987 in Fort Worth, Texas to Walter and Patricia Brana. Walter was always at every birthday, holiday, or any other event with the family and always had a bottle of Peach Crown. If anyone needed anything that needed repair, he was always there to help them. If a room ever got tense, he could come up with the best jokes just to break the silence and had the biggest smile that would light up the room. He enjoyed fishing with friends or just fishing alone. He was also talented with working with his hands and he also loved going to the casino. Walter was a fun loving son, grandson, brother, brother in law, uncle and friend and will be deeply missed by all of us.

Walter is preceded in death by his mother, Patricia Brana; and grandfather, Sergio Brana.

Survivors: Father, Walter Wek; grandmother, Martha Cortines; grandmother, Elizabeth Silva; brother, Jorge Brana; sister, Patricia Ramos; sister, Wendy Cortes; brother in law, Adrian Ramos; nieces, Liliana Brana and Leila Brana; nephews, Jaysen Ramos, Kaysen Ramos and Aayden Ramos; sister in law, Lorene Brana; brother in law, Brady Pate; aunts, Indirah Wek and Mercedes Fajer; uncle, Eduardo Fajer; Brana/Fajer family and Wek family.
