William (Bill) Graduated from Drexel Catholic High School in 1965. He went to college right out of High School, but a year into his college studies, he felt the call to serve in the military for the United States Air Force in 1966. He went on to serve 26 years before his retirement in the late 1980’s.
While in the military he met Joann Brown in Blytheville, Arkansas where he was stationed, and they would go on to be married February 8th, 1969. William and Joann have been married for over 56 years before his passing.
After retirement, Bill worked for 17 years with the United States Postal Service. William (Bill) was also a very Intelligent man, he worked with many US Military planes including Air Force 2, he enjoyed math, as well as his love for photography just like his father Mike. He loved Baseball such as the Atlanta Braves and the Texas Rangers. He also loved football, including the Atlanta Falcons, and the Dallas Cowboys. His love for sports led him to play basketball in high school, and playing golf and bowling, as well as being able to referee basketball, football, and Umpire baseball and softball. His wit and dry sense of humor made everyone laugh and enjoy his presence.
As we celebrate William (Bill’s) life, not just his passing, but the joy, laughter, goodness, and love that he brought into each of our lives.
