Condolence Messages

  1. Dear Kathy, John, and Chris,

It is very sad to hear of your loss. “Mr. Ralph,” as he was affectionately known to me and my brothers while growing up in Fort Worth, was a great man to be around — he was fun, kind, showed genuine interest in our activities, and helped create many wonderful memories for all of us. My thoughts and prayers are with you, as well as Ralph — he’ll be greatly missed.

David & I loved Ralph very much. We will always remember his humor and love of family. We are thankful for the generosity he extended to us as well as all of the Jones Family.

  4. Kathy, John & Chris,

I am so sorry to hear of your loss. Ralph was a terrific guy. He loved to enjoy himself and showed it with his jovial laughter. He and I shared in the passion of the game of golf and because of that we enjoyed many interesting times discussing the latest golf course we had played, the top players on the PGA Tour, the newest golf club to improve our game and so much more. He will be missed, but I will always have fond memories of him. God Bless you in this time of loss.

    Don Armstrong

The year has passed by so quickly; not a day goes by without thoughts of you. Some days are more difficult than others, and on those days I can imagine you telling me to ‘suck it up’ and ‘be a toughie’, so I do. The void in my heart is slowly filling with warm memories and moments we shared. I Love You Daddy.

  15. Michele Whitaker

    Dear Dad,

I looked at the clock from my bed last night, noting the time of your passing two years ago. As I went to sleep, I felt you close to me, tucking me in as a little girl. And I smiled. I’ll always miss you, but as time passes, the memories grow sweeter and I realize you are never far away as long as we remember you.

    Michele Whitaker, Bay City, MI

  16. Thanks for all the thoughts, prayers and memories of Ralph. We all miss him and wish he was here to enjoy his three precious grand-babies…they would have loved him too.

  17. Susan Whitaker Fennell

Daddy-o. I’m missing you, especially so today. I thought I’d be okay, but the loss sneaks up out of nowhere sometimes. You mean the world to me. I sure do wish you were here to meet my wonderful husband. I am so safe and so loved with him. You’d be happy for us. I talk about you a lot, especially when we’re golfing. He’s pretty good; I bet he could take you. I could go on and on…I think of you and miss you everyday. I Love You so much Daddy.

    Love, Susan

  18. Pop-Pop,
Something to make you smile – you left behind a box of hundreds of golf course “Mini-pencils” from your rounds of golf all over the world – your grandsons, Jack & Cooper, use “Pop-Pop” pencils EVERY DAY to do their homework. I smile every time they pull one out of the drawer. I love you Pop.

  19. Happy Birthday, Daddy. I love you and miss you. You are with me always, in my heart and soul, and in the blood that runs through my veins.

    Michele Whitaker, Bay City, MI
