WillieMae was born September 10, 1920, in Fort Worth, to the late William B. and Edna Mae Degge.

She was known as “that girl”, “my bride”, “Mother”, “the Queen”, “Nana”, “Jinx”, and “Auntie”.
The family would also like to say special thanks to Midlothian Healthcare Center and the caregivers who took care of her and loved her like family.

Gayle, I am sad to hear about your mother’s passing. She had a very nice long life. From what I know of her, I would say that you are the way you are, because of her, and that is very good. Even though she was 95, we are never ready to say goodbye to the ones we love. My mother is 84, so I will have to face this one day.
May God be with you and others that loved her.
    Rocky and Sharon

We are saddened to hear of her passing. Moms are sooooo special and I know how hard it is to have her go on to her new life in Heaven. Just to think – She has visited with Jesus. Her Husband, family & friends are all there to greet her. She’s young and whole and kicking up her heels doing all the things that she loves to do. God’s Love & Blessings. With Love, Your Friends – Judi & Carl

My memories traveled back in time nearly sixty years with images of WillieMae and Mom, arm in arm, and always laughing. They were there for each other through the good times and the bad times. And now they are together in the best of times. Ron
